Thank you for using W3 Total Cache!
Thank you for using W3 Total Cache, the only web host agnostic Web Performance Optimization (WPO) framework for WordPress trusted by millions of publishers, web developers, and web hosts worldwide for more than a decade.
In this major release, we’ve added two new features. The BunnyCDN is now available in the CDN settings, and also for the FSD CDN (Pro). Make sure to check out our How to set BunnyCDN and FSD CDN article for more details about the feature. Please note that the Support for the Stackpath CDN is discontinued due to the announced EOL.
We have also added the Preload Requests Feature (Pro). This feature helps improve your website’s performance by adding browser “hint” link tags to the HTML head for dns-prefetch, preconnect, and preload.
We’ve also added enhancements and also fixed the issues reported by the wp.org community and the users active in our GitHub repository:
- Feature: Added support for Bunny.Net CDN
- Feature: Preload requests (Pro)
- Fix: Error when changing CDN cookie domain setting
- Fix: Admin notice when flushing cache from the admin bar
- Fix: Error in some Minify cache file operations
- Fix: PHP 8 compatibility
- Update: Delay scripts UI changes
In our public repository on GitHub, you can review our source code, post issues, and even submit Pull requests. You are welcome to join us there, and we really appreciate all users that have contributed, both past and present.
We are always looking for ways to improve W3 Total Cache with new features, UI improvements, and of course, improvements to the user experience. If you like what we have done, please be sure to take some time and rate our plugin on the WordPress Plugin Repository.
Once again, we are sending a big thanks to all of our supporters, including those who are active in the forums helping end-users, and of course our GitHub users that contributed this release.
